About Us
The Oregon Olive Mill is owned and operated by the Durants. Ken and Penny Durant were raised in California. Upon meeting during their college years in Oregon, they found their new home to raise their family. Daughter Katy and son Paul soon joined them in their agricultural adventures. Starting with vineyards, expanding to a thriving nursery, moving onto olives and finally an olive processing facility.
Today, Penny has stepped away from the day-to-day management of the vineyard and is actively working on her passion of Red Ridge Farms Herb & Specialty Plant Nursery. Ken has become enamoured of a this new crop for Oregon, olive growing and pressing olive oil at the Oregon Olive Mill. Together they direct all activities at Red Ridge and at the Oregon Olive Mill and encourage all interested parties to stop by and see the operations.
